I'm a newcomer to this website. Now I'm studying TOEFL test, actually I'm Vietnamese who tries to get this certificate.
My TOEFL teacher said that I am very lack of orientation skill and logical thinking (in my writing) which is the main thing that almost every students in Vietnam cannot achieve.
I'm asking you how to improve this weakness?

Not sure I understand the question:

I assume your teacher is suggesting you don't organise your thoughts - you write what immediately comes into your mind like a grasshopper leaping from leaf to flower to branch instead of recording things in a more methodical manner.

I would think one way to improve this weakness would be to keep a journal or diary where you record your thoughts. Then later, read through what you have written and try to rewrite things in a more orderly fashion.

If, for example, you had two enjoyable meals, during the week sit down and write a paragraph or two about your favourite food using these meals as examples. Perhaps you can explain why you liked them, how the meals should be prepared, where you ate them or who you were with.

In other words, stay focussed on one particular thing rather than trying to write about every single thing going on around you.

I so agree with you, Hill. I think you should make up your mind on what exactly you want to do.
