I really don't care what kind it is
be it (academic, poetry, experimental fiction, a mixture of reviews/essays and short stories)
Poetry magazine seems to be the most prestigious among poetry journals
Black Clock looks interesting as well (edited by Steve Erickson, featuring experimental stuff)
n+1??

which ones have the best writing in terms of style

i guess this is a stupid question

i'm just trying to gain as much exposure to nabokov/lolita-quality writing as i can

here are some random lists
http://thejohnfox.com/ranking-of-literary-journals/

http://perpetualfolly.com/ - has fiction, nonfiction, and poetry rankings

I subscribe to Poetry, American Poetry Review, Ploughshares, and Tinhouse; I think they're all solid, but you're not going to find any journal that has nothing but masterpiece after masterpiece. There are going to be writers, stories, poems, and even whole issues that don't appeal to you. On the other hand, I've found some really good stuff in them too. So it's a bit difficult to answer which of these to recommend in terms of "style," because most publications are fairly diverse with a variety of authors writing on a variety of subjects in a variety of styles.
