None of us is a 1930s style gangster, but I keep getting "bumped off!"
During the last few days, every time I try to post something, my "log in" info mysteriously disappears, so I have to log in again. I've lost much time with trying to remember my replies and rewriting them, despite the "auto-save," which worked a couple of times, but not always.
After I type my reply, I go to click "Submit reply" and nothing happens. Scrolling down I see it says "You May Not Post Threads," "You May Not Post Replies," and so on, making me feel like a criminal! Evidently I'm doing something that somehow erases my log in info.
This also happens when I navigate away from the page I happen to be on -- not just to "Google" something but even when I go to another LitNet link!
Editing is much harder than it ever was-- extremely slow, if not freezing the page entirely. Parts of the text I'm editing start appearing in the "Google" box!
It's those cyberpunk gremlins, I'll tell you!
I hope it's merely an error on my part, that I'm not doing something or clicking something I'm supposed to be doing. I hope to heaven it doesn't mean I have to get a new computer. (This is the third one I've had just since this year (the last two were borrowed!)
