My love is a rubber bond
that keeps me close to you,
it's strongly attached
and rather too tight,
thus the stronger
you push me away,
the stronger
I come back to you,
and if it happens
and we get too close,
the passion of our embrace
melts the rubber bond,
and temporarily -- we separate.

Nice metaphor Twota. Are you sure there's no room for the word 'snap' in this piece? :-)

Nice metaphor but it gets a little tacky (no pun intended) by the end... Why is it suddenly a 'thick' rubber bond? It threw me. And the thought of melting rubber - not an impression one associates with love (or even lust).
