I'm a Brit with a lifelong love of the American West. That has distilled down to a fascanation with the literature of the great plains, in particular Willa Cather, Laura Ingalls Wilder and Mari Sandoz. I travel out west whenever I have any money, then retrurn to the UK when I run out. Last year I spent 6 months alone in a hunting lodge along the Niobrara. Interested to chat with people who like my authors - or the mountain men journals, trail narratives, etc etc.
