The whore, she is at my throat again
only this time she will not let go
I've given her everything I had to offer
now I have nothing, now I am nothing
still she won't let go, she wants more
she doesn't believe me when I tell her
“You've taken it all.”
She wants new shoes and a dress
If she can't get it from me she'll get it from you
a knock on your door
and you'll think yourself lucky

Last two lines are very appealing, silently telling about the unluck that's gonna befall on the another person...

Are you sure she was not a pretty lady walking down the street? Most of them are very good looking purposes for the men involved.
