I saw Adaptation film.. apart from the one dialogue "You are what you love, not what loves you." I didn't like anything at all.... Why is that film famous and said a great film??

Misery is probably a better Stephen King example than Stand By Me. Although, it specifically deals with the idea of writing popular fiction and the relationship of author to audience.
