Poseidon is angry, livid in fact.
He took seas to the sky,
formed clouds
dank
and black.

I too, would turn mad
if my body was soiled
–littered with plastics
Pampers, and oils.

But “Forgive them.” I pray.
“Their eyes are blinding
white lights, blue rays
–machines waxed
and shining.”

“Give them bread, for hunger
they'll pass it to waste.
Give them poison, however,
and they cheer to the taste.”

“Forgive them, still despite
their lust for anger
–their addiction to fight.”

“Forgive them
and part heavy skies,
your lullabies washed
their red-wired eyes.”

I rather think the last verse should be in the present tense Revolte. I love the reference to pampers and this:

Their eyes are blinding
white lights, blue rays
–machines waxed
and shining.”

...made me think of the The Terminator!

Hmmm, I disagree on the past vs present tense. The final verse is a sort of begging for mr. water god to stop judging because his point was noticed.

It was very violently windy/rainy yesterday right after an earthquake.

Both work, just give different meaning. In my opinion.

Also, holy crap... Didn't think of that, until now.
