i felt that the novel was very interesting and it explored many themes of life. i had to read it for composition two for this sementer in college. There are many parts that i felt were boring like the parts that discussed the process of whaling. The parts about Queequeq and Ishmael were interesting. Melville i feel is a author who is genius and writes about what he feels about how the world is. I think he feels that nature is not apprecaited for all its beauty like it should be. whales he feels are very beautiful creatures. i think that if you have not read the book you should.
