Good evening everyone, starting off with a plea for help from your good selves to help me track down a book. Whilst out in the desert (Thumrait, Oman) before the days of the mighty interweb we had a small library and in there was a book I read and I liked it a lot and seem to have the idea it was one of a series, I should like to read more.:rolleyes5:

It was a book based on the daily goings on, of the Lord of the Manor and his workers of on a farmstead and the sociology in the 15th or 16th century. Areas dealt with were animal husbandry, planting crops, the harvest I think this book was one of a series ending prior to the first world war.

The only clue I can give you is that the farmstead was positioned below (or beneath) Breedon (or Breadon) Hill.

I hope someone out there can help.

Cheers, :cheers2: Tony.

I would suggest that you try a google search. There is a Bredon Hill that has been featured in a number of books, poems, etc.

I even posted an email to the Vicar of Breadon to put a request in the village magazine! Contacted the British library also. No result as yet.

Cheers, Tony.
