Do you think the fish know they're in a tank?
And if not how do you think they feel
when they reach the end of the world and find themselves
staring back from the frozen beyond?
Do you think the fish know they are in a tank,
anymore than man knows he's in a maze?
Do you think the fish know they are in a tank
anymore than we would ourselves?

The world is a giant fish tank, and I wonder
who's watching us
drunk

freedom
and how can it not be intelligent
have we as people
accomplished
anything as beautiful
to value ourselves
higher?
how sad to
see the tiger
locked in a cage
