'conversations forsake arguments'.
or
'conversations for the sake of new ones'?
In other words how do we or people join in a conversation?
a) through an argument because one wishes to solve a current one?
or
b)through an opportunity, one sees the potential to create another different conversation hence taking over the OP?
or
c) nothing familiar/new in the conversation so one will not engage?
I think some threads do get locked when they could have been a great way to talk through things without having to reach out for drastic measures. I feel we lose out on conversations. Being aware of how we approach each other on forums could help alievate these measures.
The 'Internet Porn' thread for example I wished to put some replies on but unfortunately that go locked.
Hence the reason for this thread.
I think it just needed to be noted/said.
