Happy birthday, friend. I know I'm not the only one of the opinion that you're one of the best members around here.

Happy birthday, friend. I know I'm not the only one of the opinion that you're one of the best members around here.

Certainly not, I am also pretty sure that I'm one of the best. So, there are at least two of us who share that opinion.

Happy Birthday, Pip! :)

An interview with OrphanPip:

*Why are we doing this interview thing?*
Because I didn't do it last year, despite saying I would do it by PM.

*So, how old are you?*
25

*What is the best birthday present you've ever received?*
It is hard to say what was the best. I'm sure it was shiny, new, and quickly forgotten.

*Are you male or female? *
Still male.

*If you could build an entire planet from scratch, what would it look, sound and smell like?*
It would be nice if it was a sort of Star Trek like communal Utopia, and it would be nicer if it smelled of bacon.

*What was the inspiration for your LitNet username?*
It's still Great Expectations

*Which countries have you visited?*
USA and Canada

*Which languages do you speak?*
French and English fluently. German poorly. Old English rudimentary.

*What is the last thing that you have done that you have been really proud of?*
Let my mother win an argument, even though she's wrong.

*If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?*
It's still Paris, because I don't want to learn another language.

*Do you have any pets?*
Yes, a rabbit and cat.

*What makes you happy?*

The company of others.

*What's your favourite song for singing in the shower?*
For the good of all, I've opted to never sing.

*Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?*
Someone much better looking than me, and taller.

Who is your favourite Beatle?
George.

*How do you like your coffee? *
Au lait.

*Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?*
Neanderthal, because they're close to human, unfortunately I'd be extinct.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A naturalist or veterinarian.

*How did you meet your significant other?*
Through school.

*What was the best day of your life?*
Hopefully it's still to come.

*What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)*
School.

*What is the one thing you must do before you die?*
Finish school.

*If you had to teach something, what would you teach?*
I'd probably try to stick to something I have formal education in, like biology or literature. Or maybe I'd teach Phys. Ed. just to make all that time in school seem even more useless.

*If you were to be stuck at a particular time in your life, which one would you choose and why?*
21, it's a perfect age.

*Do you get tired living life?*
Downer question.

*If you were a king/queen for a day, what would you do?*
Instigate class warfare, or abuse my position for personal gain.

*What’s the stupidest forum argument you’ve ever had?*
Oh, any exchange with cacian probably.

*Which book are you reading at the moment?*
Five Women who Loved Love.

Who were some of the nicest people you met on LitNet?
Everyone is fairly nice, even the not so nice aren't completely unbearable.

*What era do you find most of the books you read are from?*
1660-1750 and contemporary criticism.

*Favorite TV shows?*
Anything totally garbage, like Degrassi or stuff on the CW. Not reality shows though.

*Which Forum members would you like to meet in person?*
Anyone, I'm not opposed to meeting people.

*Are you a winter or summer?*
An autumn. I'm not sure I understand this question.

*Last words you said out loud?*
See you tomorrow.

*Last person you hugged/kissed?*
My mother.

*What do you do (for a living) to be able to keep your LitNet addiction going? And are you happy with your chosen profession?*
At the moment, scholarships.

*What is your most outstanding feature?*
Probably my eyes.

*If you could change one thing about the way you look, what would that be?*
Like I could choose one thing, lord I'm too neurotic to tackle this question.

*What book would you recommend to others of all types and ages as a must read?*
Jane Austen's Emma, because it is the greatest novel in the English language.

*Are you gellin'?*
No, I hate Dr. Scholl's shoes, they look terrible.

*Something you want to forget but you never can?*
That one time, with that one guy, in that one hotel room. And all the other times too.

*Are you mostly happy with life or are you still in pursuit?*
I am mostly happy.

Tell us something scandalous about yourself.
Nothing PG about me is scandalous, I have some dirty stories that aren't forum appropriate though.

*What question would you like to ask to the person to be interview after you?
What's your signature dance move?
