Facebook sent me a notification that your birthday is approaching. Since I'm not on Facebook and rarely in General Chat, I thought I would wish you a happy one while I remembered...particularly since you always are so good about wishing me a happy birthday when it is my turn.
So, happy birthday to a great guy that I'm lucky to have as a friend! I hope you are discovering the same thing that I am that life can actually begin for you when you are older...which is rather nice, because you are wiser and don't make an :beatdeadhorse5: (a**--I couldn't find any mooning smilies) of yourself quite as much.:D

Thanks, Jess!! I've never had birthday greetings with 11 days of anticipation until now :) I'm also lucky to count you and your mom among the few. Thanks, Scher! I'm trying to finish that interview, though I have to shape an essay first :p

Eleven days in advance? Wow, Facebook really did give me an advanced warning. Usually they tell me a few days before.
Well, the sentiments are the same either way. Actually, this is kind of nice. It allows people to wish you a happy birthday without being belated and feeling like jerks.

An interview with Max:
*Why are we doing this interview thing?*
To follow the stairway. First interview was the pathetic result of feeling miserable at the time. Second interview was less pathetic, though still pathetic as I was still feeling miserable. This third is even less pathetic by a few more notches. Evidence proves that former miseries were strongly based on grief and comedowns, whereas present misery is based on academic stress.
*So, how old are you?*
.38 Smith & Wesson Special
*What is the best birthday present you've ever received?*
Family.
*Are you male or female?*
Man apart. Aliens might need to learn what it means.
*If you owned the site, what would you change?*
I'd like an animated avatar, but won't make a fuss about it. The rest I'm fine with.
*What was the inspiration for your LitNet username?*
No inspiration at all. Just my given name in its ancient form.
*What is the last thing that you have done that you have been really proud of?*
A few teachers apparently count me as a colleague, more than as a student. Others say I should be in the last year and not in the second, but the institution's rules demand that I follow the proper sequence. I excelled in Language I, Culture I, and Culture II, and I'm on my way to be done with Language II in a couple of months. Not much compared to what others are used to achieve, but for someone who has known no glory for over a decade it is like a new beginning.
*If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?*
I feel I am where I should be. I'd like to wander the globe sometime though.
*Do you have any pets?*
Myself.
*What makes you happy?*
Reasonably satisfactory episodes keep the show on the air.
*What's your favourite song for singing in the shower?*
The shower has done no harm to me. It may amuse me, however, to blast some ears with my lethal voice.
*Who is your favourite Beatle?*
I don't follow this creed.
*How do you like your coffee?*
A most disappointing beverage. If I want to sleep it keeps me awake, yet it doesn't shoo away tiredness when I really need to work late. I'll still sip it anyway http://smiles.kolobok.us/user/Vala_12.gif
*Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?*
Evidence suggests I'm half tiger and half dragon, but I haven't always had a good day.
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A police officer. I would watch action flicks regularly and thought the real thing was as portrayed on screen. I was just a kid you know.
*What makes you feel great about yourself?*
Infrequent raids of inspiration.
*How did you meet your significant other?*
Ana and I met early this year during a Semantics class. During a conversation on relationships our teacher suggested I could make a perfect husband, which seems to have found a way through Ana's ears.
*What was the best day of your life?*
Somehow I've even managed to grow fond of the worst days I've had.
*What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)*
I've always had a glowing flair for giving away what I'll never receive (items of varying degrees of tangibility, including those that can't be touched), for overrating people who will finally underrate me. A most amusing occupation I can say. When off duty, it's been said I can write in tongues.
*What is the one thing you must do before you die?*
Drag some evil aliens down with me. I want a departure in the most dramatic combat ever conceived; one that may be worthy of commemoration.
*If you had to teach something, what would you teach?*
Since indifference comes out naturally, I may find satisfaction in teaching the opposite, assuming it can be done.
*Do you get tired living life?*
Often. That's why I keep my bed as close to me as possible :p
*What one thing would you NEED to have on a deserted island if you didn't have to worry over food and water?*
A plan.
*If you were a king/queen for a day, what would you do?*
I'd abolish quite a few trends and institute quite a few others.
*What’s the stupidest forum argument you’ve ever had?*
I remember this guy who first attacked and then sent a friendship request without ever attempting a mild apology in the process. He believed that the traffic jam of philosophical crap in his mind empowered him to read other minds. Poor fella. I was never sure whether to hate him or pity him, so I ended up doing both :p
*Favorite avatar on the Forum?*
Legend has it I've done a few for myself plus a few for other persons, though I like most. I've developed a graphical mindset of late.
*Favorite threads?*
The ones worthless without pix! http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/yes2.gif
*What's your favorite sandwich?*
Sandwichosity, with a generous amount of sandwichizer http://smiles.kolobok.us/remake/nyam.gif
*What is your answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything?*
Ultimate questions of life are a clever make-believe, niftily devised in order to draw cash out of the bank accounts of the weak-minded who need to believe in the special purpose of their existence.
*Who were some of the nicest people you met on LitNet?*
A good enough number, including those who won't speak anymore.
*Which Forum members would you like to meet in person?*
Who would like to meet me?
*Are you a winter or summer?*
Winter, despite the present lack of decent winters down here.
*What would you like to be if you could change your profession?*
All-atmosphere war bird designer and pilot. They will be overly vital to wage war against the evil aliens from outer space.
*Which one of the seven dwarves are you and why?*
I love all seven
*What is your most outstanding feature?*
Misjudgment. Not one to take pride in.
*If you could change one thing about the way you look, what would that be?*
The way I look.
*Which book do you wish you had written?*
Something of my own thumb and mind, like my autobiography. Second, Snowdown High, which is the possible title to a space epic I've been planning. Academic duties won't let me make much progress in the near future beyond an outline and titles to the first chapters. Not much for now :frown2:
*What book would you recommend to others of all types and ages as a must read?*
My autobiography y'all should read :p
*What should you be doing at the moment instead of answering these questions?*
One has to take a few minutes off from time to time.
*How are you going to pick just one favourite painting?*
You can always make up a collage.
*Favorite painting?*
One that won't fit well in a collage.
*Are you gellin'?*
If meant in the sense of changing, I used to do an absurd number of irrelevant stupidities I quit doing not long ago. Now I keep doing stupidities, but of a more relevant kind.
*Something you want to forget but you never can?*
I prefer recalling as much as the skull can hold within borders. Otherwise, I risk deceiving myself yet another time.
*What is the wisest thing that has been said to you?*
In general, people mean well whatever they say, but time is the only natural healer and acceptance is its only effective treatment.
*What is the best thing that happened to you since your last birthday?*
I seem to have found a person who has accepted my many shortcomings.
*If you could send one thing to the Room 101, what would that be?*
People who scorn you in a puritan tone as though they had an accurate image of what's going on in your head, while in the same breath they reveal their most basic true nature in other conversations. They are often considered mentally brilliant because from time to time they quote something they read on some gibberish book. Same as everywhere, there have been specimens of such kind on this forum, two of whom I fondly remember http://smiles.kolobok.us/standart/air_kiss.gif
*One final word of wisdom for LitNet users?*
Wisdom is the artificial consolation to resort to when we realize there's something we want, but won't have because somebody else already took it. Framed as fanciful wording, it can't be real medicine, but a placebo of no true benefit that nevertheless seems to help people to keep going.
Now, on a really practical level, I advise you all to man the guns, for the aliens are coming and they have a plan, but first of all check your grammar and spelling before posting if you were so kind, oh pweez!! http://smiles.kolobok.us/other/fie.gif :p
*What question would you like to ask to the person to be interviewed after you?*
I'm looking for pilots. How would you like joining my air force?
