Spell check not working

Hi, not sure if anyone can help me with this but I thought I would try. Spell check isn't working for me now that I swicthed back to the linux operating system after using Windows 7.

I'm running the latest version of Firefox and have Flash 11 and Java 6 installed, so it should work. It was working fine under Windows.

I guess I could try another web browser but I really like Firefox. Any thoughts as to what may be the problem?

Ditch Firefox and get Chrome.

Yea, that's what I was thinking. Chrome will probably work.

Is the spellchecking turned on?

Tools > Options > Advanced : General: Browsing: "Check my spelling as I type"

It was turned on but I needed to install a dictionary in Firefox. It's working now. Thanks.
