Bacchus and Ariadne

See Theseus is away then,
wis it the old
couldnae help it a Goddess telt me to routine?
Load o bull.
Better aff wi me,
weel kent roon here,
pimped ma own chariot,
bit showy but ken how tae party.
Dinnae be pit aff by wee Airchie,
goats’ feet run in the family,
wee pun there.
Did you see my Uncle Davy
daein his snake dancing in the X-Factor?
Simon Cowell owes me, hen.
Stick wi me, see your name in lights,
make ye a star.

This seems to be an interesting poem, indeed, unluckily I do not know about...Welsh? is this Welsh?

I don't think the accent matches the work

Och Scottish. I love it, the puns and observations.

Geez mate of course the accent matches the work. Bring art to the door of true blue ockers across the world and this is a slice of what you will get (Hallaig, perhaps you should have better taste in art)

Took me a while, but I got it! this accented version of the story is more than charming. Ah those Scots!

Hillarious! Great idea well executed. Gave me a much needed smile this morning. Thanks for that
