A Flight of the Imagination.

“This is your Captain speaking.”

“Please fasten your seat belts, as we will shortly be going through the mother and father of all turbulence.”

As I listened to the screams from the door behind me, I pulled back the joystick of the 747, climbed vertically until the plane stalled, executed a loop the loop, plummeted vertically 20,000 feet, barrel rolled just above the trees, before leveling out to land like a marsh mellow on Runway Number 1 at Heathrow International.
A quick taxiing to the terminal, flanked by fire trucks and then the engines were switched off.

“This is your Captain here again. Welcome to London and thank you for flying British Airways. Hope to see you on future flights soon.”

I take it that was your trip on British Airways.

I love this one. You're heading down the isle to visit the head and throw your guts up, and the cabin floor suddenly drops a foot, then goes back up like a shot, several times with a rhythm you can't quite get used to. You have my sincere sympathies on this one, why, it tugged on a heart string. (maybe it was a gut string)

"If something should go wrong sir, melt all me medals down and build another one."

Had a bit of a flashback there, Man -

"Don't touch that!"

BANG

"Here, Where d'you go?"

"I'm out here, sitting on the tail!"

and:

"When I read my horoscope this morning, the stars said it would be my lucky day."

"If we keep going up at this rate mate, you'll be able to tell 'em they're wrong!"

to Hancock - The Test Pilot!

Live and be well - H

It's like an episode from Walter Mitty's flights of fancy.

One spelling glitch:
"marshmallow" (one word, if you mean the squishy candy) "marsh mallow" (two words if you mean the spring wildflower. No "e" in either one.)

Hello Manichaean, good to read you again. This really should not be as much fun as it is. But it is.
