Been reading (and re-reading) this nice little book for some time now. I enjoy the way it is formed, as a sort of novel with Lovecraft as the main (or almost the sole) character, although it is of course a biography.
Has anyone else read it? I was not aware that Lovecraft was so promiment in France, although i guess his influence is nowhere near that of his mentor, EA Poe.
I have still to read a number of Lovecraft's main works. Been postoponing it up to now, although i have the editions. A short story by Lovecraft started my wish to be a writer myself, but then for years i abandoned his literature, in search of the more "serious" writers. Now i am back, and find a lot of interesting things in his writing.
