an orange-spotted leaf
falling gracefully from a maple tree
onto the ground
like a tiny pretty poem
A late summer breeze is here
to send you on the last beautiful trip
on this dreamscape
to see you off
You're not passing away
but returning to the soil
to the place where you came from
after life has become so mellow and yellow
