Friday Emails

So caught up
in all those yesterdays
Another train is delayed
We stand oblivious to each other
sifting through the bland
emails which threaten
to overwhelm us
fluffy puppies
fat, pink tits
anti-moslem jokes
I close my eyes
before the next station
lost to the waterfall at world's end
Some people just jump
Ancient tree roots
crack through the concrete
Grey clouds rumble
last post
Next stop Murdoch
The carriage is multi yarn bombed
like a Mexican bus
as children laugh at sunset
We all assume
the same karate position
when a lone sea-horse asks me
Do you know the time?
