If you do that is...
I play tennis and go for bike rides. I occasional do country walks. I do these because I enjoy them and not to purposefully keep in shape. I also walk/bike a fair bit day to day as I don't have a car.
This week I have started to up the ante a little, having done a little jog, 4 ish mile (well half jog half walk as it was my first time) and cut out a few carbs etc and have even thought about going to the gym but I can't really see myself doing that to be honest as I don't think it is my scene.
I would quite like to have a bash at rowing. It's just getting organised with that and it's not best with winter on the way.
...
Apparently burpees are one of the best single exercises. 'Funk Roberts', seems to like them anyway!!:

Well I eat well and that means no tin food whatsover.
Fresh food meaning no frozen food whatsover.
Olive oil as oppose to animal fat oil.
A varied diet with at least one meat a day and no more.
Lots of fresh vegetables too.
Mint tea/green tea on a DAILY basis to help digestion. It works wonders
Enough water to drink during the day.
Lots of sports and sleeps when I was younger which means I do less now because my body is already toned and formed from when I was younger.
Cycling is my hobbie so I cylce everyhwere.
Never had any digestive problem or depressive moods.
I am always on the up anytime anyday constand but stable no mood swings whatsover unless it is that time of the months of course.
All in all I never had any weight problems.
Always been slim and always will.
That is me.

By walking along any high street and reminding myself that anything is better than looking like the numerous fatties that I encounter along the way.

Three years ago, I think it was, I got into the best shape of my life. These days, I do 2-7 sets of sprints or something, I sort of make it up as I go along, when I'm spending time outside, instead of just walking where I'm supposed to go. I basically go for an interval training type of thing, but it's not real serious, and some weeks I get maybe just a couple sprints in, total, for the whole week... I'm pretty sure it's better than nothing though. That Burpee vid kind of has got me interested, it might be enough to inspire me to get back at it.
But when I was doing good with the exercises, my evening routine was (in addition to a more serious attention to those sprints during the day, three times a week without fail) push-ups, followed by one-legged squats, and then finally a sort of foot-stomping thing from Sumo called "shiko", but I usually regarded this as the "bonus/for good luck" portion, and so it went on for a while if I was in a mind for it, but I didn't kick myself if I shirked on the shiko at that point (and I'm sure my form was terrible). But, anyhow, aside from the sprinting, the evening workout ended up taking about 15 minutes, tops (three times a week).

Shaolin Wushu, running, and walking around when I get the chance. I worked my way from a bit overweight down to trim and athletic by doing Shaolin forms practice daily (or near enough), so it has worked well for me.Now I feel more relaxed, fit and flexible overall, plus I'm learning to spin a staff around, which is pretty fun for me.
Dietwise, I try to eat a lot of vegetables (all kinds), rice, less meat, and keep my sugar and salt intake low. I eat fish twice a week if possible (more if I can). I rarely eat potato chips etc and drink more water. I drink low fat milk and use rice bran spread on bread. Occasionally I gorge a bit on sweet things or junk food (then feel sick) , then do more exercise, drink more water, and eat healthy food for a while.

I just do keep in shape, just by doing what I naturally want to. I move around a lot, and the food I like by chance is apparently just healthy: raw tomatoes, spinach, rice, pasta, ect. I happen to dislike sugar, chocolate makes me nauseous after a few bites, and salt burns my mouth (I guess it's not supposed to, my brother thinks I might be a witch). So, I owe my shape to luck.

I do a lot of walking because I find it enjoyable. As a by-product, it keeps me in shape.

Wow some interesting things.
My diet is pretty good as well, a little too many beers perhaps and one pizza too many, but overall it is pretty good. I have now (from this week) swapped white breads and white pasta for wholegrain stuff and cut down on them anyway and started to eat more fish.
That Burpee vid kind of has got me interested, it might be enough to inspire me to get back at it.
Oh great and yes those burpees have not done Funk any harm.

I have the benefit of an incredible metabolism. Based on my eating and exercising habits, in a just world I would be obese.

I run four miles, four times a week. Always. I skip breakfast (never hungry for it), eat a light lunch (usually a handful of nuts and some slices of cheese), and go for seconds at dinner.
I also am generally active: hiking, biking, Nordic skiing. . . . but I don't let these take the place of running. They only supplement it.
I also usually do 100 push-ups a day and various other weight and lifting exercises on my non-running days. And in the school year, I usually do the push ups everyday.

I play badminton, swim and walk. used to do karate but my work hours changed. Wouldn't mind playing badminton more regularly and with spring upon us (but lets face it, winter was an english summer) I'll be doing more swimming now.

I don't own a car and must therefore walk. I also go for frequent runs and hikes. I did a lot of martial arts but then it made me want to compete, which does not seem like a good idea, and so I quit.
And then sometimes I don't work out. Then my appetite falls dramatically and I just drink a lot of coffee and tea, have maybe one meal a day.

I don't eat a lot of fatty food and never candy or anything like that so that probably has something to do with it. I don't have a car so me and my boy walk everywhere we need to go. That is pretty much it.

Or even Touché.
Sure.
I tried to write it in both French and English. I just about managed it because I did not add the accent, plus I do not know how to access accents from my computer.
The English bit was without the accent because one could still read it and understand it.
Non?
I love to walk miles if I have time, and I have little time throughout the week and the only moment that becomes indivisibly mine is the weekend. The rest of days occupy me with the university thing, something nauseating – making notes , summaries and reviews. The weekend is romantic, riveting – going far and far cycling in a group – of guys and girls and freeing myself– ourselves of all those day to day frivolities – somewhere in idyllic places – indeed far off from the madding crowd of the city and metropolis. Fridays and Saturdays are totally ours – no responsibilities, nothing to do – untying all our mindsets. No disciplinary things, and freaking out unreservedly and some go flirting since there is no cap of restrictions on our courses.
Coming back home I feel refresh and can study – animated

All you need to do is to hold down the Alt Gr key on your keyboard and press the accented letter.
Maturité, découvre, l'atmosphére are examples. For circonflexes and cedillas etc. I simply Google the word and copy the first one mentioned that has the required accent mark as in L'envoûté
If you have Microsoft Office (which I don't ) I believe there is a toolbar application that may be added.

I weigh in every morning. I walk most nights with the hound about a mile. I eat a salad for dinner every night along with the rest of the meal. And I try to watch what I eat. For me, it's all about eating- eat less weigh less, eat more weigh more. I do have chocolate everyday, and I do eat the dessert when it comes my way. Just try to be moderate!

Do you strive to stay in shape? I'm maintaining a weight loss, but what is more important to me is staying in shape. I like to constantly set new goals and I continuously try to keep my exercise fun. I am currently training for the NYC Half Marathon, which has kept me very motivated thus far. Usually my goals are revolved around some kind race so I try to keep myself in training mode.
I've been thinking a lot lately about challenging myself to other things besides running. I'm not sick of racing by any means, but after my half marathon I want to challenge my body to a different kind of training. I find it difficult to keep up with strength training when I am running so much. I do it once a week, but it isn't enough to see a physical change in my body. I want to see the muscle growing and I want to be able to not only feel stronger, but look stronger. I have dreamed of having those typical runner's legs.
I will be doing plenty more races, but mostly shorter distances for now. I hope to incorporate strength training into my routine three days a week. It's good to continuously challenge your body, it helps to mix up your routine by keeping it fresh and fun. You don't want your body to get too used to one thing, the
benefits will eventually decrease and it won't feel as challenging anymore.
