Perhaps it's a beautiful mistake
that we came to this world, for
the road between us is long and rugged.

Perhaps we lived in a remote green village
before this life, I was a farmer then
and you were a spinster.

Perhaps we shall meet again soon
after this life when our souls are free
and there is no bondage of this body.

Interesting ideas. I liked the "beautiful mistake" part. I never thought of the roles we have in this life being a mistake. I don't understand the "Alien Girl" in the title.

I also like it conceptually, but it may benefit from some trimming.

It's simple yet there's so much implied about what might happen when two people from different cultures meet.

This is elegance of thought condensed into 9 lines of poetry. I wouldn't change a thing.
