The Sunny Side Of The Pool

I was walking barefoot
on the sunny side of the pool,
jumping from one foot to the other
till people thought I am a fool.

I found a near, plastic chair,
so I rushed and took a seat
and before my smile could prevail,
I could smell the burning meat.

I jumped off the electric chair
leaving some skin that stuck
and jumping off the cobble again,
a gold coin in water, shone of luck.

I ran, jumped and splashed
into the cold turquoise square,
my burnt skin got creamed and cured
and the water was quite fair.
