is like a burst prize
it looks a pink bright
against a true brass
in a gold cast

once the thrill's past
the shine becomes brash
diverging full crash
against a noise trash

love at first sight
is like a toy 's blast
that chases fast plays
and never takes place

Indeed it is all in the mind or a mind set.
All the chasing and the sweating and in the end it is not really love as much as lures and lust.
That is one way of looking at it.

A very dangerous, controlling position, that leads to illusion without illusion. The person ends up claiming that anything people claim is strictly in their head; not his/her case, which is "the Truth."

It would not be called love at first sight if it was not.
It would be called falling in love.
First sight reminds me of one night stands. It lingers around it or thereabouts.
Just call it love. Simple is often best.
