Winter Consolation

Open up the K-Mart catalogue
and admit it is true -
I have shelved myselve.
Yet somewhere
between the pages
of this weeks junk mail
beating down like hail
at my door,
some soggy special waits
for people just like me.

Is "myselve" intentional? "for folk just like me." the, for folk doesn't quite work for me, Delta. You really need a two syllable word in place of folk. "someone" would be a bit cliched, but people would be ok. Otherwise, a great poem. Much enjoyed.
