A young girl perhaps twelve years of age, sat at her bedroom window, staring at the stars hanging in the pitch black night sky "I wish that my life was more interesting" She sighed "Its so boring, i'm not allowed to do anything or go anywhere, I wish my life was different"
As she spoke one of the stars right infront of her window winked out then reappeared and sped off to her right. She gasped and clambering down from her window sill jumped into bed squeezing her eyes closed praying that the star was going to grant her wish.

Aeardir sped off, the wish stored in his bag secured between his humming wings. This was his last wish of the night and he was determined to get it granted. All wishes went through a rigorous screening process to see if they were appropriate and if they could be granted without harm coming to anyone or thing. All of the previous wishes Aeardir had caught this night had been turned down. As he sped across the night sky a small black speck detached itself from a rooftop and began to follow him. As Aeardir neared the portal that would take him back to the main atrium the black speck sped up and latched itself onto him "Hey there Aeardir got any nice wishes for me tonight?" an voice whispered into Aeardirs ear. Aeardir shreaked and twisted and turned trying to dislodge his attacker "No Saerdir! This is mine! You can't have it!" Saerdir chuckled and ripped open the bag on Aeardir's back removing the wish and kicking him away "Looks like its mine now" laughed Saerdir and sped off in the opposite direction. Aeardir flew after him shouting for him to give the wish back but Saerdir was just too fast. "Oh no, that poor girl" Moaned Aeardir "i've got to look after her" and he sped back towards the house where he'd caught the wish.

"Oh kiddy, little girl, OI SPRAT!" The little girl frowned and rolled out of bed ,what was a sprat. Her feet hit the floor and she frowned deeper, she didn't remember having a tiled floor. She opened her eyes and dived back under the covers of her bed "Oh come on! Dont be like that, My home isn't that ugly" The girl peeked out of her covers trying to find the source of the voice "Helloooo over heeere" She looked up and froze in shock infront of her hovered a pixie kind of thing, it was a greenish black colour and had four transparent light red wings "Hi there i'm Saerdir you're personal wish granter, you and I are going to have some fun"

Aeardir rushed through the halls of the Wisp hall, Saerdir lived in the dark parts of the Wisp hall, he'd been banished there for tampering with other wisps wishes. One little boy had ended up being eaten by a lion and half a small village had been flooded by a giant fire engine. Aeardir had to stop him from going too far with this little girls wish.

The little girl took her covers off of her and sat on the edge of her bed examining her new surroundings. There was little light where they were and from what she could see the walls were made of rock and had moulds growing on them. "So um what are you, and where are we" She asked the creature calling itself Saerdir. He smiled "I am a Wisp, a granter of wishes and this" he said spreading his four arms out wide "is my house" the little girl snorted causing Saerdir to frown " What you dont like my home?"
"Well" replied the girl "it is a bit damp, and it smells pretty darn awful"
"Right, well, yes" stammered Saerdir looking rather flustered "dont normally, women round, not my choice, wanted window" the little girl peered up at the Wisp and frowned "You said you granted wishes?" she asked curiously. The Wisp stopped talking to itself and slowly turned to look back at her, an evil smile upon its face "Yes, Yes my dear i do"

Aeardir sped round a corner into Saerdir's home just in time to see the girl and the wisp disappearing in a whirlwind of colour. "Oh Fud" he groaned then snapped his fingers and sprang into action. Pulling a spindly looking wizzy wirry gizmo from his pocket he started waving it around the area that the whirlwind of colour had been. The funny looking gadget gave a few beeps and then began to hum loudly and from its spindly antennae it started to spout its own whirlwind of colour. Aeardir grinned "gotcha!"

The young girl woke curled up on a stone slab. groaning and holding a hand to her head she sat up, around her were six portals set into stone archways. The room was circular and looked very old. The stone she was sitting on had cracks through it and weeds were poking through all over the place. As she stood up she noticed a piece of paper stuck in one of the cracks infront of her. Picking it up she unfolded it and started to read.
Dear child
Around you you will find six portals, each will take you on an amazing exciting adventure just like you wished for. Have fun
Saerdir
She turned the paper over hoping for some instructions or something, not finding any she shrugged and walked up to one of the portals. It was a light blueish colour with darker hues of blue and some greens swirling around in the middle. She poked it with her finger and watched in amazement as her finger disappeared into the blues and greens. She pushed the rest of her hand in and then pulled it out. Her left hand was dripping with water. Frowning she stuck her head through the portal and instantly pulled it back her face covered in drops of water. On the other side of the portal was a rainstorm. Walking away from that portal she turned to look at the others. the one directly opposite her was a mix of greens and reds. That was the one she wanted to go through first she decided and walked straight across the room and through it.
