and not-so- ingenuis or downfalls

My first ingenuis suggestion is:

Computer science or technoloy

My first not-so-ingenuis or downfall goes to:

Prenuptials contracts. The concept is awful and deos not give marriage a very good name. Could this latest introduction to the modern world pave the way to the downfall of the marriage institution?!

What is the european aristocracy?

Aristocracy is term that derives from Aristotle means this:

is a form of government in which a few elite citizens rule.[1] The term derives from the Greek aristokratia, meaning "rule of the best".[2] In origin in Ancient Greece, it was conceived of as rule by the best qualified citizens, and contrasted with monarchy. In later times, aristocracy was usually seen as rule by a privileged group (the aristocratic class), and contrasted with democracy.[1]

Bourgoisie is what you call the nouveau rich or les arrivistes. That is fairly modern.

Royalty is different of course.

Per-nuptial requires a contract which means the involvement of the law.
Law is a fairly modern concept which requires court hearing defense lawyers and wills.
The birth of jurisdiction is a modern technique which requires a witness box hence court hearing and juries
Aristocracy and democracy are as a result of governing bodies go hand in hand in opposition.

The word Mod comes from modest and finds its roots in with the initials MOD which as you know refers to the
Ministry of defense.
A minsitry of defense is in oppostion with other minisitries such as parliament politics and the law.
A bit like democracy V aristocracy.
That is modern.
