How could I be invisible
When my deep breaths
Soured your still throat,
My cherry lips fermented
The spit on your tongue?

You devoured the words
I murmured, I whispered
Between your pale cheek
And your hot, shaking chin
That I touched, I nursed.

I lay down beside you
When you ended the day
Too early without sunset
And trapped the night
To bear its wee morning.

How could you not see
When I heard every word
You tried, you struggled
To utter, to say, to mumble
That you waited for me?

very intense piece very strong words at times albeit very intense.
I feel this poem could have benefited with a denouement a let out phase I mean to indicate that is after all Ok in the end.
It is important to the reader at least.
