I saw "Hook" the movie when I was younger and recently saw "Peter Pan" the movie that came out December of 2003, which I thought was pretty great and is what made me read the book. Now a person can have a movie that makes em' sad and still love it, but what gets me is that I've heard everybody say how great the story is, but never mention any sadness. Now am I alone on this here, or does.nt anyone find it even a little sad. I mean yes it is so imaginative and great, but Peter and Wendy seperate, her and the Lost Boys for the most part don't see Peter Pan again, and he soon Forgets people, and why does it say heartless referring to children, does that mean that Peter is heartless? Believe me I love a happy ending, and it is such an intriguing story that I do wish to feel better about this, so if i'm missing something, or looking at the wrong way please point it out.<br> P.S.
