I prefer soft drinks but only as mixers for the genuine article.

Haha that is very true! :D although Whiskey on the rocks is not too bad.
I have never drank Jagermeister though. What is it like?

Well it's a German liqueur made from various herbs and other ingredients. I don't find it very nice on its own and there is a current fad among the kids to drink it with Red Bull but I prefer it with 7Up or Sprite.

Here's an advert for it:

Water, I never buy soft drinks but I sometimes drink it when I am offered. I only drink water and coffee, beer every now and then. Water is on the top of my list though.

I don't always drink warm water, but as often as I can. At work, I keep a bottle of warm water and at home during winter season, I prefer if it's a bit heated. At other times, I drink water at room temperature. No ice for me. I am able to drink more/enough if it is warm.

Soft drinks make me even more thirsty.

I don't drink much plain water except sipping at home. With meals I drink milk at home or usually Coke with fast food. Generally, the only soft drink I'll buy at a store is a root beer or sarsaparilla that looks good. In summer when I'm sweating, I'll generally go with iced tea or Powerade.

I don't drink soda, or if I do it's very rare. I like kool-aid. And coffee.

I drink water with sugar free juice concentrate (Robinsons or supermarket own brand) after exercise and in work and I tend to drink quite a few diet fizzy drinks in the evenings/weekends.

I don't know why but the bottle reminds me of Anis.

This might seem strange or out of this planet, coming from an Arabian nobody like me... but I prefer Sharbat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharbat) and Laban. Laban is a more-liquid-ish form of yogurt widely spread in the Arab world. It's like Milk but a bit thicker and has a sweet, almost stinging aftertaste.

Water!
Soft drinks, even diet soft drinks, are hard on your teeth. Too many soft drinks leads to cavities. Also, soft drinks contribute to weight gain and flatulence.

definitely water...I have never understood the appeal of soft drinks. If I want something sweet to drink, I'll drink fruit juice.

Water. I rarely indulge in soft drinks...I'll have it if I'm out and its offered to me. However, I do prefer cold drinks over hot.

Diet Dr. Pepper! what an invention.

you are kidding right!
I remember the first time I heard of Dr. Pepper I thought two things
a doctor as in medecine and a pepper as in a vegetable then I saw what the product was and I did not recognise a doctor or a vegetable that came in a shape of plastic bottle which in fact looked more like a dr. Pepsi oops sorry looked excatly like pepsi.
The taste is pretty dire as bad as pepsi.
Sorry I do not mean to be rude it is just the concept is weird considering there is coca cola.
Pepsi, Pepper is a stage down from coke or coca cola or whatever names it decides to take.

Like I said before it's water for me but this summer has been hot and annoying so people have told me to buy beer for those hot days. So I did but then I bought an Icelandic soda drink that is kinda like orange soda but still has a 'icelandic' taste about it. I prefer that on a hot day. Maybe beer sometimes but mainly water and then this soda drink.

Some people have told me that they get tired of water because they want something with a different taste, I don't really get that I love how water tastes.

Water.

None of our children have even requested that we purchase soft drinks except for once when one of my daughters had to bring a 2 liter plastic soft drink container to school for some project the next day. I walked to the 7-Eleven to get a cheap lemonade-flavored drink that had the required packaging.

We tried to drink it so as not to waste it, but that's lot of sugar-water to drink on the spot and so we dumped most of it down the sink.

Haha very sensible indeed. I wonder what project they had to do that required a 2litre of soft drink.
Is 7-Eleven a shop?

I dislike carbonated drinks, so no pop for me. I drink water, but I have to admit that I have to remind myself to drink enough!

I prefer water to soft drinks, but I do buy them occasionally. However I do try to stick to sugar-free kinds of soft drinks.

Yes, 7-Eleven is a convenience store for milk, beer, snacks, donuts, coffee, potato chips and stuff like that. As far as the project, I think she had to cut off the top and make some kind of decoration for a class project. This was some years ago. She might have been 12 or so.
