Hotrod Snail

I sprinkle amphetamines on the grass
Then on Hotrod Snail I take a test ride
Sundown to Sunup we cruise so fast
With soft cushioned suspension glide

Adrenalin takes us through the night
So his eyes popping out of his noggin
Then his antlers lit up like spotlights
Much more fun than a crappy toboggan

The thing handles like a happy dream
So fine a traction we drive up the wall
Circling and spiralling forever it seems
Wild an exploit yet in complete control

But our circular silken cipher deposits
May seem that our wake scribed a road
Actually evidence of midnight burnouts
Though writ in loopy silver satin code

'We were here!' we sing til the dawn
Until sleep takes me through to dusk
Whence with enormous waking yawn
I rise fresh to ride my garden mollusc
