If you haven't seen the newest peter pan(which cam to theaters on christmas day) you have to it is beautiful. In the credits it tells you to which children's hospital. I believe it is the London Children's Hospital. I'm not for sure but it is somethings along those lines. GO SEE THE MOVIE! :D

It is not out of copyright. The Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital still require Royalties. Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity<br>40-41 Queen Square, London WC1N 3AJ, UK. In 1996 copyright protection was extended from 50 to 70 years throughout the European Union, which means that Peter Pan now enjoys revived copyright in Europe until 2007. A similar Copyright Extension Act was passed in the USA with effect from October 1998 granting copyright there until 2023.

Yes, that is true. Barrie loved children, so he gave the rights in his will to the Great Ormond Street Childrens' Hospital in London, and whatever profit is made off of his characters in any way, part of it has to be donated to the hospital. Isn't that sweet? Did you know that if you went out right now and bought any Peter Pan merchandise, about 10% of that goes to the hospital? You have to contact the hospital somehow to maintain the rights to this classic tale.

Does anyone know who owns the rights to James Barrie's works? Is it still under copyright? I heard that he gave the rights to a children's hospital, so that everyone could enjoy his work. Is this true?
