I'm looking for an edition of Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species, but I'd like to get the 6th edition, which is the most comprehensive one: with each new edition since 1859 Darwin added new material, so it makes sense to read that one. But I'm having trouble finding it on the market. Does anyone know a publisher that currently has it in print?
Thanks for the help.

I think it's still in print. I have a copy published by Collector's Library, which seems to be part of CRW Publishing Limited. It says it is complete and unabridged on the cover, but does not say which edition it is based on.

I think it's kind of a waste of time to read Origins cover to cover. Have you considered picking up something like the Norton Critical Edition of Darwin? It has the key excerpts from HMS Beagle, Origins, and Descent of Man. It also includes a good deal of contextual sources and writings influenced by or reacting to Darwin, as well as on Darwin's position in contemporary biology. It's a really well put together collection of essays and excerpts.

For me few books are a waste of time. Perhaps I'll read both books, so thanks for the suggestion on the Norton edition. But I prefer to read books from start to finish, I never know if what others think is essential is what I think is essential. Perhaps Norton used a different criterion to select passages than why I want to read the actual book. I'm quite certain huge strides have been made in biology since Darwin's times, but for that reason I also read modern biologists.
