*Why are we doing this interview thing?*
As Dickens writes, "procrastination is the thief of time" - and we all long to be robbed.

*Are you sure you want to do this?*
If I read this three more times I might change my mind.

Why would you want that?
Same reason I do anything - if I knew, I would do nothing.

*So, how old are you?*
24, last time I checked.

*If you had a personal theme song what would it be?*
Night Train : who wouldn't want that playing every time they entered a room.

*Are you male or female? *
male.

*Do you like red cars?*
no less than any others, but no.

*If you owned the site, what would you change?

I think serious cat would be a squid....or dolphin....some aquatic life.

*What was the inspiration for your LitNet username?*
A Tale of Two Cities was my favourite book at the time, and I still have an affinity for Darnay - he has been a worthy Internet pseudo-persona.

*Which countries have you visited?*
Quite a few actually. Canada, USA, Ireland, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Czech, Hungary, Israel....I hope I'm not missing any.

*Which languages do you speak?*
Fluently, just English. In bits: French, Ancient Greek, Latin, Irish, German, Hebrew

*How do you like your home town?*
There's nothing wrong with it per se, but I don't want to live there.

*If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?*
A small town in Ireland....because I have over-romanticized the hell out of it.

*Do you have any pets?*
A cat

*What makes you happy?*
It doesn't take much really. Friends when books are not around, and books when friends are not around. Music. Acting. Writing. Life (usually)

*Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God/atheism? *
I tend to walk faster and have to slow down to let it catch up.

*Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?*
younger Woody Allen? I like the idea, don't know how accurate it is. Oh wait, the guy who played young Allan Parish in Jumanji (but the 1995 version of him)

Who is your favourite Beatle?
George, no question. The William Blake of the Beatles.

*How do you like your coffee? *
Black if it's good. With cream if it's not.

Referring to an earlier question, some form of aquatic life, but not the one that is dying all the time.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A writer (sad, I know)

I once caught one *holds hand some distance apart* this big.

*What makes you feel great about yourself?*
not sure yet.

*How did you meet your significant other?*
When I get my time machine, I'll let you know.

*Who inspires you most?*
Right now, Stephen Greenblatt, because of the work I am currently doing. It changes based on what I doing.

*What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)*
I tend to have good insight and foresight, by witch I mean I can usually plan ahead for most logical outcomes. Surprisingly, I am not a good chess player. I also have a good sense of words - writing comes fairly easily to me. I have some other skills I'm sure....but they escape me at the time. Let's ask the scotch bottle sitting beside me.

*What is the one thing you must do before you die?*
Die. Because I don't want to be around when it actually happens.

*Is there a selfless act?*
Yup. Anything who says otherwise is either extremely selfish or too selfless to realize they are selfless.

*If you had to teach something, what would you teach?*
As a teacher, I resent the "had to teach" clause.....I get to teach English.

*What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?*
I'll probably regret my failures as a writer...but who knows?

*If you were to be stuck at a particular time in your life, which one would you choose and why?*
undergrad....so much fun with so little responsibility.

*Do you get tired living life?*
All the time...but then I sleep.

*Do you have a tasty recipe for life that you could share for a reasonable price? … Is it REALLY tasty?*
hot sauce.....a lot of hot sauce....and cumin.

*What method do you cherish above all others, as means to improving your life?*

oh there are so many....who could pick just one.

Don't know the name of it, but it is an extremely catchy Hebrew song (the only word is "lai")

I tend not to get attached to any one thread but float around based on where good conversation is. But I must say, Classical Listening has provided much in the way of excellent music (Thank you Stlukes and Emil for the most part)

Tasty ones. Like this one I had last week....so good.

Everything.

Who were some of the nicest people you met on LitNet?
Oh.....once again so many....and there was a whole thread about this....and I set of some complex-acronym award. But as I left out the oldies on that thread I have to say that Virgil, Petrarch's Love, and Scher were the reasons I stuck around after my initial visit to this site.

*What are you wearing at the moment?*
clothes (it may sound obvious, but the answer could have just as easily been nothing....I'm not creepy.)

*First novel you remember reading on your own?*
It was a book in the Boxcar Children series...yup.

*What era do you find most of the books you read are from?*
Lately, modernism.

*Favorite TV shows?*
I have to say The Simpsons. Say what you will about decline in quality, I am still one of the biggest Simpsons nerds I know (personally)

Most of the regulars, really. Although I enjoy the image of have of certain people and don't know if I'd like reality.

Get off my ****ing keyboard, cat.

*What do you do (for a living) to be able to keep your LitNet addiction going? And are you happy with your chosen profession?*
I teach when I get the chance (job) - but in order to keep such an extravagant habit up, I sell certain items on the street corner - let's call them balloons to avoid any issues.

*Would you rather be an educated fool or an ignorant fool?*
They are one and the same.

*What would you like to be if you could change your profession?*
secluded author who can turn out books quickly and have them all published....or an actor with the Royal Conservatory.

I have poor facial features (due to genetics)

A Farewell to Arms - it is simple enough for all ages and types, and wonderful in every way. If you ask me at another time, the answer will surely be different.

spending outside on a warm, but not overly hot, day. Friends, drinks on patios, maybe some theatre.

Where can you get one banana these days? And bushing a bunch is a gamble because you have to be committed to those bananas or else they spoil and then you are forced to make banana bread...and I don't have the time to make banana bread right now.

I'll go with Beguiling of Merlin (because it's my avatar right now, and I am on a PreRaphaelite kick.) I guess it wasn't as difficult as I previously thought.

the stupid things I have done - the really stupid things I have done, not the "oh that was stupid, ha ha ha." No. The "what the **** was I thinking. Why did I do that?

If you could relive one moment in your life whenever you wanted to, what would it be?

That time I did something really stupid (as alluded to above.) I know exactly how I would replay that. Of course, the outcome would probably be the same in the end, which is really depressing.

What is the best thing that happened to you since your last birthday?
I'm going to say not a whole lot, but bear in mind that it is about a week since my birthday (and that celebration actually lasted a few days)
