This is an excellent book. The way More describes his world, the way everything works, its all fantastic. Its written the way authors dream of being able to write ficticious places: matter-of-factly and as if they really existed. It's not supposed ot be a story, but a place on paper, and I happen to agree that there is no 'arse kissing', except perhaps to himself. It can get a little tedious, but do most things. Every detail is so specificaly taken care of, mo rock is left unturned. It was part of my European Civilisations class, and I did an essay on the Nature of Autority in relation to this book a few weeks ago. If anyne is interested I can post it. All around, a fantastic place, excellently written.
