Mockery of Trinity
Steady feet, deep in earth
And lofty hands, up to heaven
And a heart torn in between
Raising the psalms and giving love
Oh Trinity, keep him here
But laughed
At my sorrow and prayers
And left me alone, on the tower of grief
Among familiar ruins
I began to cry
For loss, for prayers
Forsaking my divine love
That they promised to embrace my prayers
I stood again, raising the hymns of love and begging
And prayers and tears
Let it be a dream
I heard a whisper from above
But the howling winds among the ruins, dancing
“stop you gale, the Lord is calling”
But it was only
The laughter of destiny
And mockery of Trinity
Steady feet, deep in earth
And lofty hands, up to heaven
And a heart torn in between
Raising the psalms and giving love
Oh Trinity, keep him here
But laughed
At my sorrow and prayers
And left me alone, on the tower of grief
Among familiar ruins
I began to cry
For loss, for prayers
Forsaking my divine love
That they promised to embrace my prayers
I stood again, raising the hymns of love and begging
And prayers and tears
Let it be a dream
I heard a whisper from above
But the howling winds among the ruins, dancing
“stop you gale, the Lord is calling”
But it was only
The laughter of destiny
And mockery of Trinity
