Helter Skelter there goes Delta
Scooting all over the place
Hijacked a ride hanging five
On a surfboard into out of space
See her at night like a comet bright
Crossing the skies in transit
Watch her hoon around the Moon
Where she safely lands it
Inside a crater, parks it for later
And bounces around in slowmo
In zero gravity deep in the cavity
Gets a message to phone home
Oh damn! she snaps, flapping her baps
Just as the Moonies showed up
With doughball faces the alien races
Like inflatable puffer fish blowed up
Scared, confused and then bemused
About her antics under the stars
Soon placated as visit truncated
These new fans suggested Mars
Maybe she said, but I have to bed
Or wake up or something, and literize
My original fans need my hands
To create, comment, and criticise
Where'd they be if not for me
Doubt most of 'em woulda started
With this word our poetic bird
Revved her surfboard, and departed

Yes indeed, Shadows. I think we all need our daily dose of vitamin Delta or we get slack.

Nice one, MystyrMystyry. I noticed that I haven't seen Delta around lately either.

Yeah, what the heck happened to Delta? Surfing through space apparently?

First - a great fun again, and your verve and talent combined will bring Delta back! I too noticed her absence and only hope I'm wrong when I feel she's having health issues again... but whatever, she'll be backl, just wait and see, she's is a tough kind, besides, she can't do without poetry.

I hope this question makes no headache for you, but I wanted to know whether employing informal expressions affect the beauty of a text or not? If not, when, how and why?
