Hello everyone,
I'm a big fan of reading both "lyric epistolary", as it's dubbed by some, and diaries/personal notebooks/travelogues etc. I read the correspondences and diaries of novelists, poets and religious: from Evelyn Waugh, Thomas Merton, Jacques and Raissa Maritain and a host of Catholic Saints to Rainer Maria Rilke, Franz Kafka and John Keats' voluminous correspondences and most personal writings-- I read loads of it and have come to really love it. My brother, however, is a different man with different interests-- he is businessman in every sense of the word. And so, wanting to recommend something that would engage, entertain, educate (and, dare I say edify?) him, and also wanting to share my love for diaries and letters with him, I got to thinking: maybe there exists something like this in the business/political/economic "leadership" sphere... Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
