From my window on the Number Twelve Bus
I saw hippopotomuses creating a fuss
The policemen bemused in a hypnotic trance
As statues in the park started to dance

Bikie on a bicycle riding backwards in reverse
Orchestra a symphony forgot to rehearse
Satellites and rockets explode high in the skies
The baker bakes a dozen luminescent pies

A watchmaker hammers some intricate trinkets
Snow on the Sahara falls in thick blankets
As the Kalahari Bushman strums his saxaphone
Carrot eats potato and a slice of Toblerone

A farmer on a tractor ploughing up the road
Grasshopper foxtrots with a horny toad
A logician with a sliderule squareroots seven
A townhall clock that goes up to eleven

Astronaut's plight brings deepspace distress
Far below papers interview his mistress
A Chihuahua puppy takes its owner for a walk
A steam shovel sings, then stops to talk

The catepillar drops and backflips on a grape
A herd of team mascots chance to escape
A tangle of octopusses suddenly starts to fly
Swooping residents 'terrors from the sky'

The ghosts in the graveyard get up to stroll
Voodoo witchdoctor sticks pins in a doll
And a flock of pteradactyls freeze mid-flight
Just hang up in the air at a great height

The postie pilfers people's parcels for himself
Books learn to read others on the shelf
Horse mounts a Mountie, then goes to catch
A pirate with pegleg, hook and eyepatch

Crocodile in denile gnaws Egyptian mummy
Grins to itself 'Man this stuff is yummy!'
A rabbits foot gets lucky and then hops away
Sun kisses Moon and they call it a day

Ahh MM. They are lyrics from a Beatles song called ' I am the Walrus'. the psychedelia of some of your writing and the latter stages of the fab four seem at one sometimes. ;)

The same song contains the line ' Yellow matter custard, dripping from a dead dogs eye'. Tell me you dont love it :D
