My Love by the Oar
We are tossed and turned on earth
Adrift! from the heavenly abodes,
That spill and convolute our eyes with wonder,
Seeing the stars blessed in their angelic beds.
And spun and cast our hearts stir
Inside each others eyes,
Inquiring from a transient sea
Just where will our fate go?
We seek an answer
But none we find,
Our hearts are bridled
To the very divine.
Why seek above what we
Have here that gives?
Is it not a true meaning
That love always lives?
We are tossed and turned on earth
Adrift! from the heavenly abodes,
That spill and convolute our eyes with wonder,
Seeing the stars blessed in their angelic beds.
And spun and cast our hearts stir
Inside each others eyes,
Inquiring from a transient sea
Just where will our fate go?
We seek an answer
But none we find,
Our hearts are bridled
To the very divine.
Why seek above what we
Have here that gives?
Is it not a true meaning
That love always lives?
