Hi fellows,

I used to be a student of pure English literature...its been a while and now I am a technology student and haven't got a chance to read a book for more than 2 years. Sigh...the fact is that I can't stand sitting with a book for a whole day...reading seems painful now. But I have finished my graduation recently and have a lotta time, feels like to start a book. So can anyone suggest me a book? Neither too classic nor very much contemporary (:/ A romantic, easy reading and a good piece of writing ( translation too) would be highly recommended. Can you please refer me a book? Will be highly appreciated...

There's lots of books. Can you narrow your reading interests down a bit?

Thanks Calidore for asking...yes, I can narrow down. I would like to read a well written romantic novel. Can you suggest some? I am planning to buy today. Thanks in advance.

I would like to read a well written [easy reading] romantic novel.

Chateaubriand's "René" (1802) comes to mind.

Hi guys...I could not find Rene, have to look it online. Rather, I bought "Mars and Venus in Love" by John Gray and "Angel & Demons" by Dan Brown. My hubby bought "Complete World Bartender Guide" :wink5: Will start with either one. Thanks...

I don't read much romantic fiction, but I can highly recommend the first three books of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series as being very entertaining.
