I must confess that I have been a bit lazy recently, and have not been able to read as much as I would've liked to. Currently I am finishing up "Speaker of the Dead", and will most likely go for some Tolstoy after that. Do you have any suggestions as to what I should read beyond that?

I guess I should also introduce myself as I am new. Hello, everyone. This Russian is happy to be your acquaintance.

How do you get beyond Tolstoy? Try Dickens to at least keep alongside him!

three novels and his autobiographical work. Start on these and don't worry about what is to be next. Read Anna Karenina, War and Peace, and Resurrection.

Also read Childhood, Boyhood, and Youth, Tolstoy's unfinished autobiography; then you will only have some short stories and a novella to go.
