There are those among us brothers and sisters
Who would soon pervert the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
These are disputers without any cause,
Corrupters of the light of heaven.
In them is darkness without any filament,
Crawlers who troll the night, avid for destruction.

For their end is the gut
That washes out vile and shamed.
They speak of things they don't understand,
And blasphemy the very thing that made them.
For their corruption knows no bounds,
They are loose lips without any anchor.
Into the fire they will be consumed,
And their very riches will not save them.

For any and all who pervert the gospel of the Lord
Is a man seared from conscious,
Walking with no shame.
For they ask, what is this? Why is that?
Yet their hearts are filled with strife,
And no answer will satisfy them.

For they are men of darkness,
Filled in their own conceit.
And the Lord hears and see's all,
And who will be prepared for his judgment?

Yet we brothers and sisters
Walk in the light.
Not a light of our own being,
But the light of the Lord;
That shines through the darkness of this world,
And Lifts the downtrodden
To the promise of the Lord!

Who this world rejects,
Therefore the world is judged
And made to answer.
