Is she a stereotype? Is she strong/weak? Is she complex/simple?
What do you think of her relationship with Ferdinand? Is it supposed to be interpreted as a silly act of "love at first site", or is it just a forced, and artificial romantic relationship?

lol Kylio, sounds like you're really enjoying the Tempest. Sounds like you're IN a tempest. The way to stop this particular disorientating one is to slam the cover shut. I wish I did when I found myself in the middle of it years ago.
All of his stories are storms in a tea cup to this reader, although I haven't read all of them. But I don't put my back out any more trying to convince myself that I enjoy reading him. Life is short. Reading him, I want to shake a fist at him. I get, not just cerebral pains and eye pains, but pains in my liver and kidney, and an itchy bum, as I keep moving around in my seat, and some kind of ague of the mouth, as my lips start moving while reading him like a child learning to read. The only thing I haven't been reduced to yet is guiding my finger across each sentence and reading out loud. And that's one step away from reverting to saying 'baba...baba'.
I tell you, I warn you, I beseech you, that author induces senility or infantility. I do not know how avid readers of this man do not die young from multiple organ failure. There is many a coroner, the world over, whose professionalism, and fear for his career, are the only things preventing him concluding his report with 'Death by Shakespeare's Disease'. The coroners themselves are not exempt; in fact, particularly prone, expensively educated as they are.
