I write not to plead a case
For God's case needs no pleading.
God gave us life,
That all shall see
His very creation before thee.

Thus it is written,
"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners
Spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,"
That all shall live who hear the Word
And carry it in their heart.

For God is the Author of life!
The very Light of the world.
In what you see,
It is apparent.

And if any see not the light
They walk in darkness; they are fools.
As much as God desires all to be saved
The devil is the prince of darkness;
That one is the author of death.

For God made man perfect
And that he shall walk in the light.

Thus look around at the wondrous stars,
See any imperfection?
The universe is filled with God's love.

For God so loved the world
That He let even His angels fall,
Imparting them with free will.

And so too man,
Who was not tempted by God,
But tempted by the devil;
And thus began the reign of death.

For the earth is arched with graves,
Death comes to the mansions of the rich,
Comes unbidden to the country cottage;
Visits down to the valley of the poor;
For no one is spared by its reach.

But God so loved the world
He gave us the Light of the world;
That all who shall believe in Him
Shall never taste death.

And so we have a comfort knowing,
Loved one's who fall asleep in the Lord
Will go to be with Him.

For Christ came to break the domain of death
And He took it upon Himself to suffer,
Even to death;
So that we may have an advocate in the Lord,
Who tasted death for us.

I liked this stanza:

For the earth is arched with graves,
Death comes to the mansions of the rich,
Comes unbidden to the country cottage;
Visits down to the valley of the poor;
For no one is exempt by its reach.

although I would look for another word for exempt from a poetic perspective. Spared perhaps?

Exempt does sound clinical. I like your idea Delta. Actually that stanza is the only poetic message in here. The rest is me glorying God. But thanks for your comments.

As the Aussies say, 'No worries mate!'
