Hi

I read "The Story-teller by Saki" and i did some research about it but i found something different that what i think the story about. Many people said that saki shows how being good can be bad and something like this, but in my point of view saki in this short story criticizes some authors who don't know how to write. I think the characters in the story are symbolical for example the children symbolizes the readers and the bachelor symbolizes the good writer and the aunt symbolizes the bad authors.
What is your point of view?

Thanks
