Though I have not yet finished reading 'The Scarlet Letter', I am in love with it. Hawthorne describes their emotions as if to share and put you in Hester, Pearl, or any of the other character's shoes. The very way in which he gathered the idea for the story is fantastical, almost. Everything is smoothly written, and I am disagree with Rob: this is one of the most beautifully told tales I have yet had the honor to read. I too am in high school, and within the four days in which I've read the story, I've fallen in love with it.
