Where would you end up if you dug a hole straight through the center of the earth?

It'd be cool if someone's house was directly on the opposite side of the earth to my house, but I guess that is pretty unlikely considering how much landspace is taken up by houses.

How dissapointing, practically no one is opposite a landmass outside of South America and Asia. Add that whole China thing to the long list of "lies your parents told you."
