Just out of curiousity I would like to propose a general inquiry, have any of you experienced a humorous moment while reading? I'm sure many of you have had numerable experiences relating to this manner. I will begin this thread with one of my own experiences. Once, when I was fourteen years old and well before I was an active reader I attempted to read Dante's "The Inferno". It was like attempting to take a leap before you're able to walk. Lol! Anyhow, as I read my eyes became reddened with stress and I looked like a drug addicted crazy person. I was in a local NYC Barnes and Noble mind you, so everyone was like what the hell is wrong with this guy!? haha. I will never forget that day.

I have weird moments with literature often. I'm a really avid (http://browsergamez.com/simulation/) reader and I read almost everything I can get my hands on. Also If there (http://browsergamez.com/sports/) is something funny in a book I just cannot not laugh out loud. On the train home from work it happens to me whenever I do this, that people look up and look at me as if to say: "Crazy girl, must be disturbed somehow, laughing out loud like this, completely on her own."

Me too. At some point on the train tears were running down my cheeks because it was so so funny. The person across me was in her late teens and listening to an iPod. It needs a lot to get a German going, but she was properly puzzled...

I love moments like this while reading!! I know that I am reading a good book when it literally makes me laugh out loud. But yes, it can cause awkwardness with those that are in your company :)
