Mine amongst others is expensive wine. I could almost buy them just to admire them as a collection...oh and course the drinking of it is just the icing on the cake.:biggrin5:

My shopping habit is usually some brown jeans, a short sleeved shirt and a blue jacket. I usually wear shoes, but sometimes wear my cycling/ walking shoes.

I hate shopping for clothes and shoes and stuff like that, but it might not surprise anyone on this site the love of buying books. I could buy books for every penny (or króna in my case) and food I love grocery stores, checking the prices and the ingredients and wondering if I should buy something new....

My shopping habit is trolley rage. I really get pissed at people who leave their trolleys in the middle of the aisle while they casually consider what items they might select, check the price, the quality, compare brands, answer the phone. Man it drives me crazzzyyyy!!! So I hit their trolley with mine and barge past. I am considerate enough not to hit little babies in prams though. I actually physically move the pram to one side but honestly the look on some mothers faces when you do that, you'd think I'd just assaulted their kid! I hate grocery shopping with a passion so armed with a list, I'm on a mission to go in and get out as fast as I can and I don't want to be held up by any obstacles. My shopping bill always comes to less if I do it quickly.

I love to buy clothes, I spend far to much time and money on them, as well as mental energy, and it takes me a long time to get perfect in the morning, but dammit, wearing anything less than a work of art is profoundly disturbing to me. Dress, and appearance is almost as precious to me as literature.

Also odd little bits of brick-a-brack, especially olden stuff, like pistols from the 1700's and before, and swords of all kinds, and cigarette cases and old posters and art. And I also have a strange passion for old army uniforms, I have a complete Hussar uniform of a captain from the 7th hussar regiment in Napoleon's army, and various other uniform memorabilia from scattered pieces of history.

Buying things just gives me a high. And I love that high.

You mean if I had money? Hahaha! I love coats and shoes, gloves and hats. There was some kind of weird obsession in my family about these things growing up. I have too many coats and nothing matches or I have to many choices to mix and match that I get confused about what to coordinate. I love glass, interesting platters, china, but I never buy any. I love to go into stores and touch things, but I hate collecting things. I just like to admire and leave.

I've been told I'm a serious grocery shopper. Hey, it's difficult to choose whether I want to make fried-rice or to make some carne-asada. I like to cook!

I rarely go to a store anymore. I buy clothes only as a necessity. The only other things I like to shop for are books and music, but I use Amazon more than anything. It's much more efficient. I know, I know, I'm a horrible person for contributing to the downfall of small bookshops; I do feel guilty about it. Maybe if there actually was a small bookshop within a reasonable proximity I'd frequent it.

What is your favorite shopping habit?
I like always following the same paths in the supermarket, since I know if you try to go off the path, perhaps turn in the direction of where cut flowers are sold, a wolf eats your grandmother and then you.

When I go shopping, I have one goal: be finished with shopping as soon as possible. So my favorite shopping habit is a brisk pace and little eye-contact with others (so as to avoid potential small talk and risk delay).
